Dr. Parker is an osteopathic physician who has practiced outpatient pain management for nearly twenty years. After graduating in 1988 from Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine (now Nova Southeastern), he performed an internship at Orlando General Hospital and completed his family practice residency at the Colorado Springs Osteopathic Foundation. Dr. Parker has completed the UCLA Physician’s Acupuncture training program and has additional training in Japanese acupuncture techniques. Dr. Parker also has a special interest in the diagnosis and treatment of traumatic brain injury.
Dr. Parker provided pain management through his own private practice in Colorado Springs from 1993 until he joined The Spine Institute in 2011. He utilizes a broad spectrum of treatment and modalities to address his patient’s pain issues, including:
Dr. Parker has served as an expert witness in numerous court cases regarding traumatic injury and as a consultant for the Colorado Board of Medical Examiners and the state’s largest malpractice carrier.
Outside of work, Dr. Parker is an avid outdoorsman, with interests in salt-water fly-fishing, horses, mountain biking, and SCUBA diving.
